To the diving community of the gulf coast, from the owner of Gulf Coast Divers

Gulf Coast Divers and/or it’s assets are for sale! This presents an opportunity for a person or group of people to enter the dive business with everything in place.

After a half-century of sharing my passion and love of diving I am ready to hang up my professional fins. I am looking for one or more people interested in taking the reins to train and service divers along the gulf coast.

In the meantime, Gulf Coast Divers will continue to serve divers as we have for the last five decades, and when a transition occurs, we will of course ensure that any commitment we have with any customer is fulfilled.

The purpose of this letter is to see if you, or someone you know would like to take over servicing divers along the gulf coast. All terms are negotiable, and with enough down payment to have committed skin in the game, owner financing is available.

Because Gulf Coast Divers is the only diving support business in Mobile, it is in the interest of all area divers and future divers that someone emerges to keep GCD’s diver support services available in the area, so pass this on!

CHECK THIS OUT! We have a new dive computer that is going to be so exciting to use that is coming out soon. I liked it so much that I upgraded from my Auqualung i330 that I bought brand new in December for this new computer. It’s going ro retail for about $1400 for the computer and the transmitter. I think it’s going to be 100% worth the upgrade!
I have my Auqualung i330 dive computer that is basically brand new and has only been used for less than 30 dives. If anyone is interested please let me know and I will ship it to you as well. I’m looking to get $350 for it if possible and it retails for $400 but open to offers as well.
Get excited for this new computer that’s coming out June 1st!!

This global project aims to locate soft-bottom seabed habitats on the continental shelves that are intact, and undisturbed. Led by a team of world-leading experts, the survey focuses on quantifying and understanding blue carbon stored in the coastal ocean floor to combat climate change effectively.

Through the power of collaboration and collective efforts answers can be found for environmental challenges, and you can participate in this important effort through this unique opportunity to make a difference.

Congress imposed a brand-new liability requirement on small dive, snorkel, and tour boat operators. As a direct result, dive centers, day-boat operators, dive training organizations, and dive travel providers are paying dramatically higher fees for mandatory insurance coverage.

Understandably, in order to stay in business, those costs are being passed to dive customers.

❗❗ This means divers like YOU are finding the price of dive trips to be significantly more expensive.

The DIVE BOAT Act proposes a solution that would help ensure vessels that are operating safely are not burdened with unnecessary insurance hikes, thus maintaining reasonable, affordable prices on dive travel.
