The Mims Park Baseball family extends our heartfelt condolences to the family and loved ones of a truly special coach, Marshall Barstow. His children played at Mims Park for many years, and during that time, he became an important part of our park family.

He was the kind of coach who always went the extra mile; picking players up for practice, opening his home to host practices, feeding his teams the best sweet treats from his restaurant. His generosity, dedication, and love for the children went far beyond the baseball field.

We are grateful for the lasting impact he made on so many young lives. His kindness and commitment will never be forgotten. Please keep his wife, children, family, former players, and all who loved him in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Today, Mims Park Baseball mourns the loss of one of our own, Ben Conken, a Mims Park alum and an exceptional athlete.

Ben was the kind of player who gave his all—to the game, to his teammates, and to everything he pursued. His talent, determination, and competitive spirit were evident on the field, but the impact he made went far beyond baseball.

Ben fought the good fight and he finished the race. Today, we honor his life, his legacy, and the mark he left on so many.

Our deepest condolences and prayers are with the Conken family, his teammates, coaches, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Congratulations to the Mims Park 10U All-Stars on an outstanding weekend in Brandon, Mississippi, finishing as tournament runner-up!

This group showed tremendous commitment, grit, and determination every time they took the field. Through every inning, they battled together, supported one another, and represented Mims Park with pride.

We're proud of the effort, heart, and teamwork displayed throughout the tournament. Keep working, keep growing, and keep believing in each other. Great job, 10U All-Stars!

🏆 Congratulations to the Mims Park 12U All-Stars for being the District Tournament Champions! Your hard work, dedication, and teamwork paid off, and we couldn't be prouder of the way you represented Mims Park on and off the field.

A huge thank you also goes out to all of the volunteers from both Mims Park and Municipal Park who worked tirelessly to get the fields ready after all the rain. Your commitment made these games possibly for the kids. ⚾️

The Mims Park 12U All-Stars went 2-0 in pool play during the first warm-up tournament of the season! Unfortunately, the tournament was cut short due to weather, but we couldn’t be more proud of how hard these boys competed. Great teamwork, hustle, and heart all weekend long. Looking forward to what’s ahead this season! ⚾️
