Wow!! What a great meet day! I don’t know what the exact times were but I’m convinced all these athletes made new pr’s today!!! It was a hot day but not one of them gave up. The camaraderie at these meets is a really cool experience! Our team met team members from all over central Missouri and had a fun time competing against their newly found friends. Huge shoutout to Frank Flaspohler for running in the adult 2k and supporting our team and CMAC! Great job to all and everyone should be so proud of themselves. We even had a couple of medal placers!! Go Fury!!!!

We had a great meet in Mexico yesterday! These kids really pushed hard and I couldn’t be more proud of their perseverance! Huge shoutout to Laramie for running the adult 2k for the second time this season and supporting our youth cross country team!! Also a huge shoutout to our parents and their cheer squad as they set up throughout the course to encourage our athletes to the finish line! Our athletes are successful because of all of you and all you do for them throughout the season! Next meet this weekend in Moberly so let’s hit those practices hard this coming week! Looking forward to another great event!

Mark your calendars CMAC families! September 14th is our Shakespeare's fundraiser; any purchase made at all three locations will help us earn money towards Gans Creek!
It's the perfect time to grab lunch after church, order delivery for dinner, stock your freezer with frozen pizzas, or even Christmas stockings with gift cards! Grab your teammates and plan a team outing! Set yourself a reminder and let's make sure we can give our kids the Championship meet they deserve!

There’s Something Unique About Cross Country Runners After practice or a tough meet, when they make their way to the car with flushed faces and legs that feel like jelly, it’s clear that cross country kids are built differently.

These are the athletes who simply don’t quit. The ones who push themselves to keep moving, no matter the challenge. There are no time-outs, no breaks, no sidelines to rest on. They cross the finish line even when they know they’ll be the last to get there. Winning is great, but to them, finishing means more than being first.

These are the runners who put in the work even when no one is asking them to. They log miles in the sweltering heat and heavy humidity of summer, all to prepare for the season ahead. They sneak in extra runs on the weekends. They’re committed to chasing personal bests and will do what it takes to get there.

These are the kids who shine even when the spotlight isn’t on them. Whether they’re leading the pack or hanging on at the back, they keep driving forward. They show up when there’s little applause, when no one’s paying attention. They show up for their teammates, yes but even more so, they show up for themselves. No matter how tough the race, no matter how harsh the conditions, they keep going.

Parents‼️ For those of my returning athletes, please pay attention to the location of our developmental meet as it is in a new location. As a reminder, please do not be running alongside our athletes as this could lead to disqualification. Please look over the meet information and if you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me.

Looks like some changes are being made and not all of the information will be available yet but we do have a new season schedule for you!! Take a look and come see me at Open House on the 14th in the elementary gym to sign up!

We appreciate your patience with the 2025 schedule. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, several of the circuit season duties have been, and are being shifted to new leadership members. A few more decisions are needing to be made very soon. That information will be shared once all has been agreed upon and planned out.

For the time being the major changes are the costs of the developmental and regular season meets going up $1 each for members. And the CMAC fees are going from $5 to $7.

Keep a look out for the new YES Forms on the CMAC website to be posted soon.

We ask that you please share this information with members of your teams that may not have Facebook.

Thank you and practice hard teams.

We held our end of season celebration Tuesday night and it was a huge success! We missed a few from our crew but wow 🤯 what a way to end our season!

I have been honored to have coached your athletes and helped build their self confidence throughout the season! These young athletes have run their heart and soles 👣 (lol) out! We have made massive time improvements and it has been shown throughout our meets. I am so proud of these guys! I can’t wait to start again with you next season!

Remember, “work as a team, run as one, finish as a family” and “when your legs give out, run with your heart!” That’s what our team has is heart, spirit and perseverance. You all never gave up and should be so proud of yourselves, I know we all are.
