ANNOUNCEMENT
Ok everyone, as some of you have seen a few weeks ago we suspended event ticket sales. We did this because we were informed the county was not approving our permit. The reason for the permit not being approved was our dates. They did not like that our event backed up to a holiday weekend. We immediately started an appeal process which was concluded yesterday 3/17. We had lost our appeal. We have been exploring other alternatives; however, we feel the best decision at this time is to cancel the event and issue refunds to everyone who purchased a ticket. Our hearts are broken as we have poured so much time and energy into this event. 21 years. Thatβs how long goneMOAB has been an event. 21 years we held the event the week before Memorial Day weekend. Previously we were not even required to obtain a permit from the county. The whole process was created last year, and this was our first year filing for a permit with the county with their new process and event committee. We wanted to get this out to the community as fast as possible, so everyone had the opportunity to cancel any reservations. We are sorry and we appreciate the support and understanding.
