HIGH SCHOOL- OFF
7th and 8th grade game at Orleans at 10:00am. Bus leaves at 9:15 am, be at the Fieldhouse by 9:00 am. Wear practice jersey.

💙 Wednesday, June 3:
Practice 9:00-11:00 @ Fieldhouse.
Grades 7-12.

🩵 Thursday, June 4:
Borden Shootout for JV and Varsity. Bus leaves at 12:30, be at the Fieldhouse ready to go by 12:15. Wear practice jersey.
2:00 JV vs Borden (Aux. Gym)
3:00 Varsity vs Madison (Aux. Gym)
4:00 JV vs CAI (Aux. Gym)
5:00 Varsity vs Lanesville (Elem. gym)

🐝 Lady Jacket Camp Day 3🐝
🏀 Today we put the skills we have learned to work. The girls in all age groups competed today!
💙 💛 Our Jr. High and High School girls have been showing up and working hard each day as well!
Mitchell girls have had 75 girls in the gym getting better this week! Averaging about 25 in each age group!

Tomorrow (Tuesday, May 26th) is the Big Day! Mitchell Lady Jackets basketball camp begins at 9:00 in the Fieldhouse. Next years grades 1-4 will have camp from 9:00-10:15, next years grades 5-7 will have camp from 10:30-noon & next years grades 7-12 will have open gym from noon-1:30. See you tomorrow at camp!

As many of you have already heard our girls’ basketball program’s head coach, Dakota Brasher, has accepted a new teaching & coaching position closer to home. I would like to thank him for his years of service to the Mitchell Community Schools & his dedication to the girls’ basketball program & wish him success in his future endeavors. His hard work is deeply appreciated. With that being said I’ve been fielding a lot of questions since the release of this change & this is what I know to this point. I have contacted the other coaches in the program and they have assured me we will have coverage for all summer activities. Please pay for youth camp the first day, preferably with cash, since we do not have any other options at this time. Next, I want to assure everyone we will work hard to find a quality head coach to replace Coach Brasher & will accomplish this task with the best interest of all of the girls in our program. This hire will not happen overnight & please be patient as we go through the hiring process. Thanks, Jeff Hein, Mitchell Athletic Director

UPDATE: spring clinics tonight are cancelled, we have a couple coaches who are out sick for tonight. We should be back at full strength next week. Sorry for the late notice.

Workouts for next Monday, April 27th are cancelled for HS and JH. Remaining spring workout days are April 30th, May 4th, May 7th, May 11th, and May 14th. All remaining spring dates are at Emerson!
HS - 3:30-4:45
JH - 4:45-5:45
