Huge congratulations to all of our Bluejackets Wrestling Club wrestlers who competed at the FWC Freestyle Tournament today!

For several of these young athletes, this was their very first wrestling match and tournament ever - and they stepped onto the mat with courage, determination, and heart!

We’re especially proud to say we had wrestlers earn podium spots as well - an awesome achievement and a testament to all the hard work put in at practices.

The future is bright!

After a long day of wrestling at Charlestown, we had 7 finish on the podium! The kids battled their way through a field of 20 teams to claim their victories!

Tonight your Mitchell Bluejackets took on the BMS Cutters, after some exciting matches with some kids wrestling above their respective weight classes, the final score is tallied at Mitchell 78 Bedford 12.

This win brings us to 13W-5L on the season.

We want to wish a BIG Thank you to everyone that follows and supports our team!

ETA back to school is 9:45pm.

We had to juggle the lineups up a little to spread out matches, but we still managed to pull off all 3 wins!

This moves us to 12W-5L on the season so far.

Vs. Eastern we won 60-47
Vs. Providence we won 54-36
Vs. Paoli we won 47-45

Great work from all of our wrestlers! And a huge thank you to the parents and fans that help make it happen!

I was just updated that tomorrow’s (3/2) meet is a quad meet against Pekin Eastern, Paoli, and Providence.

Our bus will leave the school at 5pm.
Please have wrestlers arrive by 4:45pm with their gear.
