Save the dates! With winter fast approaching we are in a big push to raise funds to continue helping youth and marginalized genders get into skiing and snowboarding in Montana.

We will continue to work with Soft Landing Missoula and the ADS and will host free public ride days Lookout Pass Ski Area and Montana Snowbowl throughout the winter.

With the help of Board of Missoula 😎 and RIDE Snowboards we will also be expanding on our free demo program at our local snowboard shop. You can demo snowboards, bindings, and/or boots for free for two days at a time at Board of Missoula. First come first served, DM with any questions you have.

GOS is working on the Marshall Mountain Rail Garden, a free hikable rail park for community members of all ages to enjoy Marshall Mountain Park ❄️

Lastly, we are working with locals from the Flathead Reservation to help get youth from our skate programs onto the slopes for the first time!

Help us spread the shred! Donate via the link in our bio or come out to one of our fundraising events over the next few months.

Do you have lightly used snow gear? We would love to get your unused gear to participants in need. DM us to set up a drop off or pickup location.

A little recap from our Flathead Skatepark Tour! Saturday we helped break in the new Elmo park and give out free padding, helmets, skate shoes, and skateboards to new skaters from the area. Seeing so many people find their power at this park was a joy to be a part of.

Pablo, SčilΓ­p, and Arlee were next on the list proving why it’s so vital to have these spaces for skaters of all ages to enjoy. Skateboard parks help build confidence, resilience, friendships, and overall wellness. They’re especially important to have on reservations and rural communities that know all too well the struggle of su***de and drug abuse. We are honored to be able to help break down the financial barriers of entry to this life changing activity.

We are so thankful to Jeff Diction and all of our generous donors who made it possible for us to giveaway gear to those in need. We are always accepting new and lightly used gear to redistribute around Montana. DM to learn more about how you can get involved.

We are raising funds for the Marshall Mountain Rail Garden with an afternoon of music! Join us Saturday, August 29th and enjoy tunes from The Skurfs SERPENTINA GIRL FREAK κ§ΰΌ’β˜¬ π–‡π–šπ–™π–™π–”π–“ π–•π–šπ–˜π–π–Šπ–— β˜¬ΰΌ’κ§‚ Marley Rozeboom and more!

BYO picnic and yard blanket. Mountain line shuttles run till 4pm. Carpooling is strongly encouraged.

All proceeds will go to help cover operational costs for the rail garden so bring some extra dollars for the raffle and custom GOS merch. It takes a community to make these projects happen so let’s get together, dance, and raise money so we can provide a free ski and snowboard park at the legendary Marshall Mountain Park

We are doing a casual skate and greet meetup at MOBASH this Sunday from 10:30-12:30. Come skate with us and meet new friends.
