A little recap from our Flathead Skatepark Tour! Saturday we helped break in the new Elmo park and give out free padding, helmets, skate shoes, and skateboards to new skaters from the area. Seeing so many people find their power at this park was a joy to be a part of.
Pablo, SΔilΓp, and Arlee were next on the list proving why itβs so vital to have these spaces for skaters of all ages to enjoy. Skateboard parks help build confidence, resilience, friendships, and overall wellness. Theyβre especially important to have on reservations and rural communities that know all too well the struggle of su***de and drug abuse. We are honored to be able to help break down the financial barriers of entry to this life changing activity.
We are so thankful to Jeff Diction and all of our generous donors who made it possible for us to giveaway gear to those in need. We are always accepting new and lightly used gear to redistribute around Montana. DM to learn more about how you can get involved.
