My Jujitsu coach and Sensei Gene Edwards passed away in May. We held a memorial for him shortly afterwards up in Kalispell. One of the professors who does metal work created these crosses to place over where we laid his ashes. This picture was taken on the inaugural night that it was put in the ground. A beautiful reminder of an amazing man, teacher and friend.-Coach Tony

Mauka Inago Dojo is the official name of of the Missoula Judo Club facility or martial arts school. It means Mountain (Hawaiian) Grasshopper (Japanese) which is reference to the self-defense curriculum which comes from the Japanese-Hawaiian system known as Danzan Ryu. Our school blends this curriculum with traditional Kokokan Judo to offer our students not only sport judo but also a self-defense base for living a confident life. We teach the essence of Judo (maximum efficiency and mutual benefit) through cutting edge programs for all ages.
