Belló Trailers The lightweight hybrid trailer for heavyweight work or play.

11/17/2016

So we have been working on this project since May, and I am excited to share this with everyone.

With help from several friends we have built this little utility hybrid trailer.

Goal was to build something that I could pull behind my little car. First to use as a utility trailer, (mine was stolen in Austin) secondly to use as a camping unit.

This is what we came up with. Coming in at an unbelievable 398lbs, it can still haul up to 1500lbs. So almost any vehicle could pull it.
The top is removable to accomodate larger or taller loads.
It also comfortably sleeps two people. We just open the tailgate and pull the top closed. We have an interior light kit, mattress, sleeping bags, and attachable tables for work areas.

We have tons of ideas for additional accessories if we move forward. Tank-able water container, mosquito netting, detachable tent just to name a few. Always open for more ideas.

Look over the pics and feel free to share.

Thanks in advance.

If you like it, I would love for you to like our bello' trailers page. Thanks everyone!

We designed our hybrid trailer with a few goals in mind.

1. Lightweight- We wanted something that you could pull with almost any vehicle. Our trailer comes in at an amazing 398 lbs.

2. Quality- We wanted to have a product that we were proud of. Although lightweight, its very rugged and has a total payload of 1500 lbs.

3. Versatile- We wanted to cater to both the urban and outdoor lifestyles.. We wanted a utility trailer that someone without a truck could still fill their needs. Also, we used the idea of a pop up tent trailer without the weight or hefty price tag.

So I need to send a shout out to a couple of people for all their work and help on this project. Wade Sellers my amazing friend and steel fabrication stud. Kelsey Ward for all her design and mechanical drawings. Last but not at all least, Jeff Bass for all the computer programming, web design and photography work. You guys are all so talented at what you do!
