Swim for Hope! Participate or donate to help us raise funds to continue programs that bring HOPE to individuals and families in Missoula County! The fundraising Swim-a-Thon takes place on Friday, November 15, 2024, from Noon to 2:00 p.m. at The PEAK Health & Wellness Center and Racquet Club - Blue Mountain Location. Join us for two hours of fun and friendly competition as we swim as many laps as possible in a 25-yard pool. Participants do not need a PEAK membership to swim in the event.
The Salvation Army is asking for your help to reach their goal of $5,000 that will kick off our fundraising season. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will make a positive impact in our community. Participate as a swimmer or donate by pledging a Per-Lap or a One-Time donation to support our efforts.

Life-changing experiences: Summer camp and other programs offering opportunities that many families couldn't afford otherwise.
Character development: Our SAY Troops program helps kids build important life skills like teamwork, leadership, and resilience.
A safe and supportive environment: We provide a nurturing space where children can thrive. Together, we can make a positive impact on the lives of Missoula's youth.
Pathway of Hope: The POH provides targeted services to families wanting to break the cycle of poverty and enable a path out of constant crisis. it is rooted in a case management approach, focusing on the client's individual needs and mastery of different life skills. We empower families to overcome obstacles and build a brighter future.
Job Skills Development: Our Job Skills program features a computer lab that offers at-risk populations access to computer technologies, while improving job skills and digital literacy. However, to better serve our students, we need to upgrade our computer equipment to offer more comprehensive training and help individuals develop the skills they need to secure stable employment.
Food Assistance: Each year, we provide over 56 million meals nationwide to individuals and families struggling to make ends meet. Here in Missoula, the need for food assistance is growing, and we're determined to help those facing hardship.
Your donation can make a real difference. A gift of $25 will purchase a small food box, $50 will purchase a medium food box, and a gift of $100 will provide a large food box. These food boxes contain essential items like canned goods, pasta, rice, and protein, ensuring families have the basic necessities to prepare nutritious meals.
At the end of the fundraiser, your donation will be charged by The Salvation Army based on the number of laps the swimmer has completed, or if you selected to make a one-time donation.
