I just completed removing 3 broken single foot guide wraps on two Dobyns Champion casting rods. I replaced one with Seaguide #6 single foot guides and the other one with Fuji KW double foot guides. Both of these rod guides were located at the choke point and the foot of each guide was under the wraps with the ring broken off. The other notable thing I want to mention is that after applying heat to remove the guides, the finish pealed off in one thin soft plastic sheet. I did not take pictures, so you will just have to take my word for it.🥸
