Our dancers are not quite back from break, but woke up early on this Saturday to perform at the Dairy Days festival in Tonganoxie. Way to go, dancers!

Kansas City Feis, Heart of America Feis and Kansas City Irish Fest 2026!

It’s been an eventful few weeks. The lease at our studio was up at the end of August. After 13 years, we were pushing to move and get into the new studio by Sept 1st. We are still in the process of getting the new studio together. Permits, Fire Marshall approval, and red tape have been super fun to deal with (taking calls and answering emails during the weekend - very eventful).

We went into a crazy weekend with 2 feiseanna and festival performances. Our little Kansas City school hosted a dance competition of 600 dancers. We could not be more proud of our dance families. They all worked so hard and did so much to make us look good. We cannot begin to express our gratitude to all of them. Thank you to everyone who came to our feis. We are so grateful for you all too. Thank you to the Consul General of Ireland, John Forde, for stopping by to support the feis.

A special thanks to Patty Finn, Bernie Fitzpatrick, Aggie Landry, and Suzette Cutcliff for being there to help us all weekend. You have no stake in the game, but are there because you love us. And we are so thankful and love you all.

Our dancers got out of awards and walked right onto the festival stage. Our festival was a hot one. It hit 97, with a heat index of 107. Our dancers did an amazing job. Thank you to everyone who came out and supported our dancers.

Unfortunately, a thunderstorm with winds of 55mph came in fast and destroyed the stage and caused the festival to cancel the last few acts. It was so sad not being able to perform/close out the festival with The Elders. But we were more sad for the bands who have been practicing and putting the time in to get to this show, only to have the show canceled. Thinking of you all. 💚

We are off this week, as we continue getting the new studio ready and finish wrapping up the weekend events. All our dancers and families deserve a few days off.

We are days away! Catch your OM dancers on Sunday, at Irish Fest. We go on at 2pm - the Miller Lite Stage (Ice Skating Rink).

We will also be back, on Sunday night, to close out the festival with The Elders.

Tickets are now live for the 3rd Annual Irish Festival at Shamrock Hills!

Join us Saturday, October 3, 2026, for a full day of Irish music, dancing, w**e, food, and fun at Shamrock Hills Vineyard and Winery. The festival runs from 12–7 p.m., with gates opening at 11 a.m.

This year’s lineup features Eddie Delahunt, Into the Sun, Stolen Apples, O’Riada Manning School of Dance, and our headliner, The Elders.

We are especially excited to welcome The Elders to the Shamrock Hills stage. Known for their high-energy Celtic rock, powerful storytelling, and unforgettable live performances, The Elders are sure to make this year’s festival one to remember.

Proceeds from this year’s festival will benefit Bags of Fun Kansas City, helping bring joy, comfort, and the power of play to children facing critical, long-term, and life-threatening conditions.
