What is Yoga Wall?
The original “Yoga Wall” was brilliantly designed by Mr. Iyengar. He added ropes attached to wall hooks, to help people experience traction. Chiropractors charge hundreds of dollars for this and this class is $22 as a dropin.
Overtime, the Yoga Wall has been modernized for greater comfort with the use comfortable harnesses, supportive bars, and adjustable straps to accommodate all body-types. The Great Yoga Wall™ was invented in the early 1980’s, by Kedric Wolfe, Aadil Pakhivala, and Bryan Legere, adding versatility.
We believe in it so much that three of our buildings have a yoga wall so we can stretch the spine prior to other classes.
The wall can be used for a beginners and advanced yogis that need extra support for balance or want to experience an inversion with traction.
Students with injuries or limitations of any kind will find the Yoga Wall helpful in so many ways.
