Update afterDay 2 of the 2026 Girls State Wrestling Tournament:
Amaya and Gwen both lost their first matches of the day and were eliminated from competition.
Citori went 1-1 and fell just short of the placing rounds.
Unique lost in the semifinals but came back with a win to put her into tbe 3rd place match on Saturday.

Results after Day 1 of the 2026 Girls State Wrestling Tournament.
Citori, Amaya, and Gwen all lost their first matches and will have wrestlebacks tomorrow morning.
Unique won her first match of the day, followed by a win in the quarterfinals. She will wrestle in the semifinals tomorrow.

On Friday, February 20 we traveled to Mitchell for the Region 3 Girls Tourney. We had 10 wrestlers entered and finished the day with 4 state qualifiers:
Citori-3rd at 145, Amaya-3rd at 170, Gwen-4th at 190, and Unique-1st at 235. We finished 7th as a team with 74 points.

We want to wish our Todd County Wrestling brothers the best of luck today at the Region 3A Tournament in Mitchell.

On Friday, February 13 we traveled to Bennett County for our last regular season tournament. We had 8 “Top 4” placers: Tylissa 4th, Re*****on 3rd, Adrienne 4th, Citori 2nd, Khazania 2nd, Amaya 3rd, Gwen 2nd, Lahayla 4th, and Unique 1st.
We tied for 2nd as a team, thanks to team points from Tylissa, Alexsis, Re*****on, Adrienne, Brystol, Gwen, and Unique.
Unique also received the “Spirit of a Warrior” award. This award was given in honor of former Bennett County Wrestler Chandler “Chuck” Bakley who passed away in January. It was voted on by the coaches and presented by Chandler’s family.

On Tuesday, February 3 we traveled to Chamberlain for a triangular. We beat Chamberlain 36-17 but then lost to Madison 24-39.

On Friday, January 6 we traveled to Ft. Pierre to compete in the Big Dakota Conference. We had 9 placers: Tylissa-4th, Alexsis-5th, Re*****on-5th, Adrienne-5th, Khazania-3rd, Mackenzie-4th, Amaya-1st, Gwen-2nd, & Unique-1st. We finished with 92 team points, putting us in 3rd out of 18 teams.

On Saturday, January 31 we competed in the Mahpiya Luta Girls Tournament. Placers: Lily-7th, Tylissa-3rd, Sienna-4th, Re*****on-4th, Suedawn-6th, Brystol-5th, Citori-1st, Khazania-4th, Amaya-2nd, Gwen-2nd, Lahayla-5th, Karen-6th, & Unique-1st. We finished 3rd out of 8 teams with 122.5 team points.
