I am writing to inform you of a significant development regarding the status of our archery range. The City of Rancho Palos Verdes has notified me that the archery
range will be closed for an extended period -potentially up to one year.

This decision follows a recent geological assessment conducted by the city’s geologist. He has concluded that the area is currently unsafe due to ongoing land
movement.

I understand how important the range is to our members, both as a place to practice our sport and as a community gathering space. This news is difficult.
Nevertheless safety of all our members and visitors must remain our top priority. I will remain in close contact with the city and will share any updates or changes to the timeline as soon as they become available.

In the meantime, during this closure period we will also be exploring options for alternative shooting locations
and club activities. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

We are hosting the CBH State Indoor Championship today! That does mean there will be no range time until 3:30, and it is already booked up for the day. If you decide to come down to view the tournament or shop, we ask that you please be mindful of those participating in our tournament. Thank you!

Good morning! We will be short staffed from Thursday January 16 to Saturday January 18. The bow techs/owners are attending a trade show to see all of the awesome new products for this year! Please be patient with our staff as they navigate the shop with two people less than normal. Thank you!
