Solo trip out to Yokohama pier for Japan Brewers Cup to meet for some beer tasting! I had no idea how big the Japanese craft beer scene was. There were som American brewers there as well. Zack brought some Kobe beef jerky for the boys and myself. What an amazing night in an incredible venue!

Started warming up in Hakuba Valley so we had some time to check some shops out. One of the OG shops where had worked at the shop for 17 years before becoming owner (Sorry if I missed some details). Picked up an awesome photog mag called It’s your turn…with Masaki in a 2 page spread. Awesome shop with some killer brands as well as a lot of OG brands. It definitely inspired us to find some back country trails to rip.

Arrived in the mountains without incident to what started as a bluebird day into some snow…oh yeah! Hoppy days from here on out with some Japow and the humble vibes that make Japan what it is. #

Looks like the timing will be just perfect to be able to attend in Yokohama next month. The craft beer scene seems to be hopping in Japan. I’ve had some good IPA before but a good variety is hard to get. Should be a hoppy great time! japanesecraftbeers

Ride to celebrate 00Szabos love for outdoor adventures and ripping. He was always up for anything with anyone and the big crowd that showed up made me realize how much stoke he had with others. R.I.P. 🙏👊
