The conditions in which tournaments have been played this summer continue to amaze. Shortly after we got the nice lady's car fire in the parking lot put out, we got the September 2 tournament on course #2 underway in the hottest conditions of the year. We were blessed with ten hardy players, and wondered about the question: "how often is the winning score below the temperature (in the shade) at the completion of the tournament?"

It'll be Course Championship week next week!

Course Qualifying for this years Course Championship starts September 9th, continuing September 10th and 12th. This years Course Championship will be on Sunday, September 13th. Good luck to anyone who's trying this year!

The Putt-Putt tournament program vs. weather in 2026 has been truly amazing. For the August 26 event on course #1, the weather was first rate. However, the majority of forecasts over the two days before made it clear that it would be just awful, and so it goes. Congratulations to some really fine players who made it a very impressive scoreboard!

We played the August 19 tournament on course #3, in good weather for the second straight week, and had a nice turnout. The three winners all showed up well in all three rounds.

The Course Championship is coming soon, September 13, with qualifying beginning September 9!

The August 5 tournament on course #1 only had serious rain during the third round, so it goes down as the fourth best weather event of 2026. Congratulations to Jeff, who actually seems to prefer playing in the rain, and Kevin, who came a great distance to get soaked!

The weather again took us to an interesting conclusion. The July 22 tournament was played in September weather, and then look who shows up and wins!

Oh, we just laugh about the weather. But when it's hot, look for a Floridian to win. Early forecast for next week has a high of 78 on Wednesday, though!

The weather compromised a little, with no rain and only hot as opposed to blazing. The scores after over a month away from course three were... interesting. Congratulations to Cory for winning, for posting a 25, and for going all 54 holes without a bogey. The course record of 23 is rarely challenged even this closely, and quick research isn't finding a 24 in the records. Well done!
