Join BE Dance Studios, & Councilwoman Linda Julien for the 10 anniversary of Michaela DePrince Day this Saturday July 12 at the Betty T. Ferguson recreational complex, for a series of master classes, exhibits, movie showings and performances. This year we celebrate the legacy and inspiration of the beauty, talent and triumph of ballerina Michaela DePrince after her sudden passing last September. She is still an inspiration to us and we continue to celebrate her and the many Ballerina’s of color who have blazed a trail for us all. We welcome classes & performances by Atlanta world renown ballet company as well as local schools and artists and more. Last night, BE Dance Studios hosted our first Soulful Ballet Class of the season, and it was a blast! 🎉 From beginners to seasoned dancers, we all came together, sweated it out, and had an amazing time. (Ms. Peppie's playlist was 🔥🔥🔥)

This isn't your traditional ballet class—it's a space for adults of all ages, body types, and experience levels to connect, build confidence, celebrate body positivity and get a good workout. 💃🏾🕺🏽
