ENV was a collaboration between Danny Del Toro (founder of surfoboards), David Purser (co-founder of surfoboards) and Nicholas Hildebrandt ( Danny's shop-grom, protege, and future CEO of ENV) on how to show larger companies that there is a more sustainable way to produce surfboards and still make money.

Oh s**t. this is what a successful MycoFoam blank looks like. Tell that kid across the pond to keep swinging it is gonna take a while. This is 8yrs of R&D. out did himself. More to follow on the progress of the 3rd generation mushroom surfboard.

I know it has been a couple of years but we never threw in the towel on the mushroom blank. We have been secretly working on the 3rd generation of the el portobello for a couple of years since 2015 and the article that gave away our credit only fired us up to prove who the only ones that have made a successful core surfboard really are. We will not be showing our building methods until the patent clears from here on but just know will have a prototype soon.

We haven’t been sleeping just quiet… have this new model named the Hartley based off a model that has been adjusted and altered to suit the ENV aesthetic and has been working on an updated to the moped that he is pretty stoked about he; designed, shaped, glassed and sanded this beauty to perfection and he is frothing to give it a test run, Full carbon deck complete w/ vent mount, fcsii 5 fins set up and a head-to-toe carbon strip on the bottom combined with the use of 1.5psf foam make this a perfect board for ankle to just over head surf at any skill level. Yeewww 🤙🏾🛵

This got finished up last week we are pretty stoked on how it turned out, built using a stringerless EPS core and we used Basalt down the length of the bottom and parabolically on the rails to create a unique flex pattern. Hoping for swell so we can get some feed back.
