Just a little May snow to kick off the summer season here at the huts. Road in was easy to the trailhead with the F-150, then a 2.7 mile hike with a few trees to step over and a little snow.

Patches are back for a limited time … they’ll be stocked at the hut (alongside some sweet cards from ) for a few lucky guests this summer and fall.

If we’re feeling nice we might send out a few too, tag us in your best photos from your trip to Gondola Village (or better yet featuring your OG Gondola Village patch) and send us the post. We’ll send out 5 patches from posts received before May 15th, 2026. Void where prohibited. No monetary value. USA shipping only.
