🎉 EXCITING NEWS! ISR IS COMING TO MINOT!!
I have had a lot of parents asking me about Infant Swimming Resource (ISR) swim lessons for years. When it was first emerging the closest place to become an instructor was in Missoula or in Colorado, being a college student and hockey player it wasn’t feasible for me to do that. Fast forward to 2022- I went off to start my own business, BC Aquatics LLC. For those that braved the cold waters at the local pool for me that summer I will never forget and be forever thankful for you. What was the lowest point in my life soon became my highest!! They helped me see a vision at the time I didn’t think was possible, being a 23 year old navigating life outside of college.
All I knew was that I LOVED working with kids, I enjoyed being in the water, especially after breaking my pelvis. I was majoring in Exercise Science, I grew up around the water- going to our lake cabin in MN, swimming for our local club swim team, it just made sense!! Water was such a big part of my life that giving Minot this opportunity was something I knew the town needed.
Being a mom of 1 year olds twins, I know that survival swim lessons are a non-negotiable. If you want to know a sobering fact.. DROWNING IS THE LEADING CAUSE OF DEATH FOR CHILDREN UNDER THE AGES OF 5‼️‼️ As a matter of fact: 80% of drownings happen during non-swim times. Infant Swimming Resource, or ISRs, mission is to ensure “Not One More Child Drowns.”
ISR uses techniques grounded in behavioral psychology, with daily 10-minute lessons over a
6-8 week period. This structure leads to rapid skill acquisition and long-term success.
Many parents wait until spring or summer to start swim lessons, but at ISR, we believe the
sooner, the safer. Enrolling in the fall/winter helps ensure children are strong swimmers by the time
summer comes around. Plus, we offer refresher and maintenance lessons to keep those skills sharp. 🏊♂️💦🩵 Website for scheduling will be coming end of December so messge here to claim a spot!
