Scholastic Clay Target Program’s National Championship Final Results Recap
Dakota Clay Buster student athletes attended the Scholastic Clay Target Program’s National Championship in Marengo, Ohio. The event gathered young shooters from across the United States to participate in multiple disciplines and evaluate their shooting abilities.
In total, twelve athletes from Dakota Clay Busters traveled to the competition last month. Ten athletes took part in events that included 200 Sporting Clays, 100 5-Stand, 100 Super Sporting Clays, and three American Trap disciplines—200 16-yard Singles, 200 16-yard Doubles, and 200 Handicap. Collectively, these ten athletes shot at over 10,000 targets in the course of the week.
The team demonstrated sportsmanship and participated alongside competitors from across the country. The competition also provided opportunities for 364 athletes to measure their skills and experience new aspects of the sport, such as the Olympic-style International trap demonstration.
