Ninovan Lake Estates Ninovan is a native-american word for "our home" that was chosen because of the family centered community this neighborhood is about.

Ninovan Lake Estates is a ski lake community in Minooka, Illinois southwest of Chicago. It features a 23 acre recreational lake designed for water skiing and usable for fishing, swimming and general recreation. 54 large estate lots set in a country atmosphere are designed for permanent homes. A park, beach access and general shore access round out the subdivision. Use of the facilities is restricted to home owners and ski club members in the development.
