Thank you to Rick Burgess, host of The Rick Burgess Show, for presenting to the team this week!

Rick Burgess is the son of Hall of Fame football coach, Bill Burgess. Rick has also authored numerous books

Rick’s message focused on 3 key lessons:

1) “You can't worry about that”
- Don't worry about the things that you cannot control. Control the controllable

2) “Get out of the stands”
- Don't sit around and let all the great experiences pass you by; get up and get to work. It won't be easy but it will be rewarding!

3) “Nobody cares about last year”
-Don't get caught up in what was - every year is a new year and the only thing that matters is right here & right now
