Minocqua Winter Park Foundation is a non-profit who works in partnership the town of Minocqua, landowners, Northwoods Land Trust and the WI DNR to maintain the parks vast trail system, overlooks, programs and buildings. Minocqua Winter Park (and Ski Shop) accommodates skiers, snowshoers, snow tubers, ice skaters, hikers, bikers, and other outdoor enthusiasts! Recognized as one of the top cross-country ski areas in the Midwest, Minocqua Winter Park provides a full range of services for the cross-country skier. We host over 86km of pristinely groomed trails for both skating, striding and foot races. We also groom old-school single-track on our 15km Wilderness Trails network. A breadth of expertly designed and maintained trails await beginners and experts alike. Bring your own dog and equipment. Over 10 miles of dedicated snowshoe trails wind through our park. Enjoy our dense forests, expansive wetlands, scenic overlooks, and myriad vistas. Chip Wulff Memorial Ice Pond is an enchanting place for kids to play. Your generous donations allow for free use of the pond all winter long. The Minocqua Winter Park Ski Shop is open during chalet hours for retail, rentals, and PSIA-certified ski school instruction.
