🚨🎾Individuals State Tournament Round 2 Results:

Main Draw Singles: Bella Starkman lost to #2 Malea Diehn (Rochester Mayo) 6-0, 6-1.

Consolation Draw Singles: Tessa Trivedi lost to Megan Beack (STMA) 7-5, 4-6, 11-9.

Main Draw Doubles: Ariya Hook and Martina Francisco lost to Amelia Larsen/Lexi Helmer-Jahnke (Maple Grove) 7-5, 6-1.

Congratulations to these 4 on a fantastic season and showing at the AAA State Tournament. They represented Minnetonka well! ⚓️

🚨🎾Doubles State Tournament Round 1 Results: Ariya Hook and Martina Francisco beat Joy Zhou/Nikole Nazarevych of Wayzata 6-7, 6-4, 6-3. They’ll take on the Maple Grove team of Amelia Larsen/Lexi Helmer-Jahnke in the quarterfinals at 2:30pm.

Tessa Trivedi lost to Molly Miller ( #5) of Bloomington Kennedy 6-1, 6-2 and enters the consolation bracket at 12pm.

Bella Starkman beat Rachel Johnson of Maple Grove 6-0, 6-4. She’ll take on #2 seed Malea Diehn of Rochester Mayo in the quarterfinals at 12pm.

Minnetonka received the #3 seed and will take on Eagan in the first round of team state on Tuesday, October 21st. Matches will begin at 2pm at Baseline Tennis Center.

Our 4 individuals will play on Thursday, October 23rd. Our singles players Tessa Trivedi and Bella Starkman are unseeded, playing at 8am and Ariya Hook/Martina Francisco have received the #5 seed in doubles, playing at 10am.

It was a phenomenal Section 2AAA Individuals Tournament for Tonka! Ⓜ️⚓️

It was a strong first day of the 2AAA Section Individuals tournaments! All Tonka players won 2 rounds, placing them in the semifinals on Monday, Oct 13th. Monday matches begin at 9am at Life Time Bloomington South. Let’s go Tonka! ⚓️

Friday, October 10th is the start of the 2AAA Individuals Section Tournaments! Play begins at 9am at Life Time Bloomington South.

SINGLES: Tessa Trivedi received the #1 seed in the singles draw.
Bella Starkman received the #2 seed.

DOUBLES: Martina Francisco/Ariya Hook received the #1 seed in the doubles draw. Sofia Jalil/Lucy Prondzinski received the #2 seed.

All players will have 2 matches tomorrow and if they win, will advance to Monday.
