What a wild, wonderful year it’s been! We accomplished so much in dog training, hit a multitude of goals, and loved my dogs to the fullest every step of the way. We launched the Atomic Dogs Flyball Club , traveled to BTCA Nationals in Illinois/Kentucky, rocked the dock across the Midwest—and did it all while I was recovering from hip surgery. Not too shabby for one year 😏
~Zero~
Zero’s first year as a veteran was incredible. He competed in all three NADD divisions, earned multiple 1st place finishes, hit two personal bests, and made the Top 10 at Nationals. Wearing a muzzle full‑time completely transformed our home—no fights, no stress, just peace ☮️
~Ouija~
Ouija gave me everything. We played flyball in five states, made new friends, hit a personal best, and earned 14,508 points—finishing 7th in NAFA’s Top Point Earning Dogs for 2025. She also shined in Dock Diving, earning 1st Place at Regionals in both distance and Hydrodash, plus a 2nd at Nationals. Agility became a confidence-building journey, ending with her Open title. Rally has become a surprising favorite, where she now competes at the Master level with a few perfect 100s. We learned to freestyle in Disc and had many personal bests this year. She also added two Barn Hunt titles, including her RATCH Championship 🏆
~Olive & Rocky~
Retirement suits these two. Rocky is happiest being my shadow, and though his liver needs monitoring, he’s doing well. Olive is taking life day by day—some good days, some harder ones—but she’s still here, still eating, still my best girl. Hearing from the animal communicator that her “light has begun to disperse” was heartbreaking yet strangely comforting.
As we close out this unforgettable year, I’m grateful for every challenge, every victory, and every moment with these incredible dogs. Here’s to new goals, new adventures, and a fresh year full of joy ❤️🙌⭐
