Minneota Mudhens Stymied By Madison Mallards

Minneota Mudhens had trouble keeping up with Madison Mallards in a 13-0 loss on Sunday.
Madison Mallards jumped out to the lead in the top of the second inning after Kaden Christensen induced #16 to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, and #8 doubled, scoring two runs.
An error extended the Madison Mallards lead to 5-0 in the top of the third inning.
Madison Mallards scored five runs on zero hits in the top of the eighth inning. #3 drew a walk, scoring one run, #18 was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, #2 drew a walk, scoring one run, #12 was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, and #8 drew a walk, scoring one run.
Kaden Christensen stepped on the bump first for Minneota Mudhens. The starter allowed eight hits and seven runs (five earned) over six innings, striking out three and walking one. #33 started the game for Madison Mallards. The pitcher surrendered eight hits and zero runs over eight innings, striking out nine and walking none.
