Run the Bug has a new look for 2022 with fun stops and activities for everyone along the way. All ages are encouraged to participate.
The traditional Run the Bug is not being held in 2022 (This is NOT A TIMED EVENT.)
DETAILS:

Run the Bug is a 5k and 10k race held annually on the weekend after Labor Day as a part of Minneota's Boxelder Bug Days town celebration.

We had an amazing turnout yesterday for the return of Run the Bug! We want to thank each and every one of the 104 racers that toed the line and gave their best to a strong finish! While race participation has been down nearly 30% across races for 2021 in general, we are so proud of the showing that we had for our community!

The success of this doesn't come without the support of our volunteers and community partners to make sure each racer is taken care of from registration to course safety. We THANK YOU for all of your help!

We also want to give a big THANK YOU to our favorite local emcee for the race, Ross Eischens and to Brian Jeremiason of Jeremiason Photo for capturing images of the run!

We look forward to bringing the race back in 2022 with many new offerings and perks to running the bug! Stay tuned!
