April Athlete of the Month: Kristina Marchetti

(Yes I know it’s already May but I forgot to post this earlier in the week 🫠)

Kristina has been at the gym since last year and brings a bubbly smile and a great attitude to every class - whether is 6am or the end of the day.

She’s a true example of the ancient proverb - “Exercise gives you endorphins. Endorphins make you happy. Happy people don’t kill their husbands.” - Gandhi, probably

Meet Rory.
Rory has been coming to the gym since she was just a baby - and while she is still under a year old, she is growing into a demure and lovely young lady. (Manifestation works, right?)

What she lacks in mass, she makes up for in puppy energy and bark decibels. You can catch her most evenings either loudly cheering on the athletes or aggressively asking for the attention to be on her - we’re not sure which.

Jaycie joined the community toward the end of 2026 and has quickly become part of the family. She recently got engaged to another one of our community members, Makayla, and is always at class with a snarky remark or comment about pretty@much anything - and that’s what we love!

How long have you been working out at North Strong?
Since August 2025!

What motivated you to join North Strong and what keeps you coming back to classes every week?
I joined north strong because of the supportive community and inviting space. I come back because I love the people and coming to the gym is seriously the best part of my day.

What’s your favorite CrossFit movement?
Rowing - as a tall girl it’s the only thing I truly excel at 🤪

Least favorite CrossFit movement?
Rope climbs

What’s an accomplishment you’ve made in your time at North Strong you’re proud of?
I haven’t thrown my back out ONCE since joining (used to be monthly) 🤩 the coaches really focus on technique and how to do movements safely - it’s been a game changer for me.

February Athlete of the Month: Jordan Dickinson


Jordan is one of the OG members at North Strong - working out with us through multiple locations, multiple owners, and countless coaches. He and his wife, Heather, are the coolest couple at the gym and always bring a great energy to class.

When he’s not building record-breaking cars, motorcycles, and airplanes (tbh I’m not sure on that last one, but it seems like something he’d be into), he’s being a a amazing family man - often with his wife and adorable daughter at the gym with him.

November Athlete of the Month: Jenn Brown


How long have you been working out at North Strong? - a little over a year now!

What motivated you to join North Strong and what keeps you coming back to classes every week? - we moved to the neighborhood so I needed a new gym! I love that I get a little social interaction with my class time- everyone is so friendly here (and the dogs). I am ok at doing cardio on my own, but need motivation for strength training, so that’s the main reason I come- to lift heavy things!

What’s your favorite CrossFit movement? - hmmm, double unders, because I am good at them.

Least favorite CrossFit movement? Rope climbs are just a nope for me.

What’s an accomplishment you’ve made in your time at North Strong you’re proud of? I am making progress and getting stronger even when I don’t realize it, just by showing up every week. I hadn’t bench pressed in ages, but when we did it last week I absolutely smashed passed the last weight I recorded!
