Did you know that Saint Paul has more shoreline than any other city along the entire Mississippi River? We love experiencing the capital city from the river. Unfortunately it's not always easy to access, but we're trying again this Friday for our Field trip into St. Paul! Don't worry, we don't plan to use the Upper Landing 😎 And we won't do what we did last year at Kelley's Landing. 🤣 We will use the Grand Staircase near the historic Wigington Pavilion at Harriet Island. This Friday Sept 25th, we will paddle from Hidden Falls to Harriet Island. On October 9th we will continue from Harriet Island to South St. Paul. Hope you can join for one of our upcoming St. Paul events!

We were recently able to get away with friends for two days of paddling the Kickapoo River in the Driftless Area of WI. If you haven't been, be sure to put this river on your to-paddle list!

We’ll be at Lake Johanna 9/16 for Wednesday on the Water! Email us if you need us to bring you a kayak. Just $20 for a self-guided rental from 5-7 pm. Or come out with your own gear to paddle on the lake. As long as it’s not raining, we’ll be there entertaining.

Note that paddling is self-guided. We don’t launch as a group, so come whenever works for you! We park in the lot near the boat launch.

It was more than a bit windy, but we had a great time on the Mississippi today for our Friday trip. Good work, everyone! 🥇We had a great group of 28 paddlers and two puppies. Let’s hope for a little less wind next week! 💨
