Seebie Sparklehaus Seebie Sparklehaus is a lyra performer and instructor in Minneapolis, and a troupe member of Kinsey and the Killers. Seebie teaches Lyra 1 and 2.

Take class with me at Freak Studio in St Paul or Phoenix Flight Studio in Northeast Minneapolis Seebie Sparklehaus is an aerial instructor and performer at ExperTease Fitness. She came to aerial arts after a career as a professional figure skater and coach. She was a singles soloist and adagio pair performer for professional ice shows across the United States, and a program director and coach

for competitive and recreational athletes alike. She has a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in clinical movement science (the study of movement) from the University of Minnesota. At ExFit, Seebie focuses her training on Lyra and Rope, and occasionally does Vaudeville performance of all types. She believes that movement and performance are a way to embody your most amazing self and achieve new heights. Her lyra classes focus on the safe development of balanced and holistic strength for long-term success in circus arts and life.

From showing my binding on stage to doing trans law full time this winter, I have never been this visibly trans. This trans day of visibility, I am visibly trans for all those who cannot be.

I have spent the last year and a half on a steadfast march toward authenticity. Away from transactional connections, from masking, and from following social scripts that I don’t believe in. It’s ok if it makes you uncomfortable. In fact, that’s part of the point. Discomfort is not a problem. Hurting also isn’t a problem. We all hurt. My hurt was information to bring me closer to who I really am. Who I needed to be. It’s here to bring me to my highest potential. If you are uncomfortable, or hurting, I invite you to befriend it with me.

I don’t yet know where it will take me next, but that is also kind of the point.

Tonight is going to be a very small group; lots of individual attention for targeted strengthening, mobility, and skill work! As always, we will spend time on “shoulder barre” to prehab your circus shoulders 💪🏼 hope to see you there!
