We are an LBGTQ+ league that is open to all bowlers (18yo and up). We currently have bowlers who average below 100 as well as some that are above 190. The majority of the bowlers are in the 115 – 135 range. The bowlers get together every Wednesday night during the Fall/Winter season to have fun, socialize, and compete in a friendly game of bowling; ultimately winning prizes at the end of the seaso
n. The end of each season the organization gets together for a banquet to hand out prizes. We are sanctioned with United States Bowling Congress (USBC) which requires a fee to paid once each bowling year which runs from August to July of the following year. Our leagues season starts the Wednesday after Labor Day and runs for 29 weeks, typically ending late March or early April, dependent upon the Holidays. We are also a member of the International Gay Bowling Organization (IGBO) which carries a once a year fee of $3 (subject to change each season). We bowl at Memory Lanes in Minneapolis with a starting time of 7:30. Teams are made up of 4 -8 bowlers, but only 4 bowl on a given night. This allows bowlers to rotate if they like so they don’t have to be there every night. Currently our weekly fees are $20 per bowler (likely to go up soon) If you don’t own bowling shoes, they can be rented at Memory for an additional fee. We have capacity for 30 teams and are currently full with a waiting list for both teams and individuals. As officers we help to place bowlers with teams, but it is the team captain themselves that make the decision if they want to use someone from the list or try to find someone through other means. A team slot only becomes available if a team does not renew for the next season. If you are interested in joining us, please DM your name, email and phone number.
