Cerebral palsy is one of my fondest memories during my personal training career. Sounds funny, but my friend Nick has cerebral palsy.
The doctors told him that his feet would never be flat on the floor without bolts in his ankles. You see, Nick walked on the toe of one foot and the heel of the other, very unbalanced. His back paid for it. It took us three months of learning how to do deadlifts and his heels were down. His balance was up and his heels were down. Nick has proven those doctors wrong.
