Whew! It’s over! 7 months of planning an preparation, and the 2026 Midwest Seminars and Shinsas has come to a close. It was a hot gym, but there was nothing but smiles all around as people learned and tested together. It was quite a challenge to put on 3 Shinsas in 2 days, and so THANKS to all who took the time to travel to Minnesota to attend and/or teach! Tom Smyth, Adam Taylor, Jason Perry, Tim Clear, Noah Mitchell, Zach Biesanz - none of this could have happened without your help. Also a HUGE thank you to the members of Seiryukan Dojo who helped put this together - quite literally building this event from the ground up.

Congratulations to all who tested for and passed their ZNBDR, ZNTIR and USFBD rank advancements!

We look forward to hosting another event in the future! Hopefully we’ll see all of you there!
