Besides learning Persian dance technique, children will also learn how to write, read, and speak Farsi.

“Qalammu” is a classical Persian dance technique from the Shahrzad method of Persian dance. Students will learn a choreography featuring this movement!!

What exactly is “expressive dance?”

Unlike a typical dance class, expressive dance does not teach technique, or a “right” or “wrong” way of movement.

Instead, participants are guided to move their bodies intuitively, thus allowing for profound realizations and transformation to occur.

Our bodies remember every single experience that has ever happened to us. When we give our body the space to guide us where it wants to go, we can finally release what we no longer need to carry.
