One of our Emergency Trauma Care course alums found themselves at the scene of a bad motorcycle accident on Friday night.

The rider had lost control on a curve and impacted with the guardrail. Among other injuries were serious, life-threatening bleeding from his arm, which had been mangled in the crash.

Our student applied a tourniquet, which controlled the bleeding, and monitored the rider until police arrived and took over the scene.

The rider was taken to the hospital where they are being treated for multiple injuries. His arm had to be amputated and he needed a blood transfusion. He is currently in ICU.

He will have a long road ahead, but there is little doubt that if it had not been for the quick actions of our student, they would have died at the scene.

Well done!

ACT NOW. Make the call!

If this horrible garbage bill passes, do you want to be the one who didn't call? What if your call was the one that tipped the scales?

We've never been closer to horrible gun control that we are right now. MAKE THAT CALL.

Well this is the worst thing so far when it comes to the gun control in Minnesota.

I won't go over the full list, but the lead is a ban on any semiauto rifle, shotgun or handgun with ergonomic features such as adjustable stocks, foregrips, and any magazine over 17 rounds.

You would be required under threat of prosecution, fines and imprisonment to register your fi****ms and individual magazines with the State. Each registration will require a fee to be paid and would have to be renewed every three years.

Transfers of these weapons and each individual magazine would require a specific filing and approval.

The DFL passed this bill out of committee with no public testimony allowed. It will go to the Senate Floor TOMORROW.

DO THIS RIGHT NOW:

Contact your Legislators using the Action Center at the MN Gun Owner's Caucus. You can edit/personalize your message:

https://gunowners.mn/take-action/action-center/2026-gun-control-omnibus/

CALL your legislators, or better yet, visit them in person, and let them know how you feel about this.

VOTE in the 2026 elections. The DFL has a one-seat majority in the Senate and the House is tied. If they can flip a single seat, worse legislation - such as outright bans - are a sure thing.

DFL bill SF 4067 bans most semi-auto rifles, mags over 17 rounds, and registers MN gun owners. Tell your senator & rep to vote NO.

🚨 URGENT: Mega Gun Control Hearing in the Minnesota Senate

The Senate Judiciary Committee has scheduled a major hearing on 9 gun control bills — including proposals to:

• Ban almost all semi-automatic rifles
• Ban magazines over 10 rounds
• Ban “ghost guns”
• Repeal firearm preemption
• End school carry permission
• Prohibit lawful carry at the State Capitol
• And more.

Because the DFL controls the Senate, they likely have the votes to move these bills out of committee unless gun owners speak up now.

We’ve put together a page explaining:
• The bills being heard
• Actions you can take
• How to submit written testimony

📢 Written testimony deadline:
March 11 at 5:00 PM

👉 Learn about the hearing & submit testimony:

⚡ Take action:

Legislators pay attention when hundreds of constituents contact them. If you care about your Second Amendment rights, submit testimony before the deadline. 🇺🇸
