Over the weekend I worked on this feature: when you link a post from the site, the title of the post turns into text on top of the post link image. Hopefully helps with context.

Stacking hips with a near-side underhook disorganizes uke's body by making his head and hips point in opposite directions. This shuts down uke's core which means he can't resist the pass.

I've been working on a courseware feature for the website, and after some false starts, I finally got it to a good place. (Streaming video is hard) Somehow I convinced Marcus Beddor to create a series of courses for the site. This is the promo flier for the first course in "The Missing Manual" series. When developing the concept with Marcus, we specifically aimed for something that would help noobs onramp into the sport better, and I am really excited about what he created here. Also, hat tip to Porrada Photography for the video work, and thanks to M-Theory Martial Arts for letting us use the space for filming.
