I could practically say meditation has saved my life.
It’s a big statement but I can say this, it has completely made me a different person than I might otherwise have been.
If anything, meditation has made me more aware. Aware of myself with my thoughts and my feelings, aware of many of the subconscious programs running in my head and, furthermore, running my life that I would otherwise not been conscious of.
Awareness is the game. Awareness of yourself, awareness of others, awareness of the world around you, awareness of the laws of truth that invisibly govern our physical, psychological, interpersonal, and even spiritual worlds.
I started out by just sitting for 5 minutes a day and now my practice has grown to a regular 20 minutes, sometimes more. I encourage you, also, to get started and see what happens. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
I really believe that if everybody meditated on the daily, the world would be a much much different place.
