We are excited to announce that tomorrow marks the highly anticipated bunker renovation project by Penn State on Hole #8. Please be advised that both Holes #8 and #17 will be closed to play throughout the day on Saturday, October 19th.

As you approach the #9/ #18 tee box, we kindly ask that you exercise caution and drive safely, remaining as close as possible to the no-mow area.

While we hope to complete all work tomorrow, we will keep you informed regarding any potential closures of Hole #8 on Sunday for the project’s completion. Your understanding and patience during this time are greatly appreciated as we strive to enhance the playing conditions of our course.

We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude to the Penn State team, especially Professor Tim Lulis and his dedicated students. Their commitment to our course has been invaluable, and we are truly fortunate to have hosted them for three out of the last four years. If you have the chance, please extend your thanks to them for their hard work and dedication.

Once the fog clears and the sun comes out, carts will be allowed starting at 10 AM! Please exercise caution in low-lying areas, avoid making sharp turns, and stay in the rough whenever possible. Thank you!

Night Golf Update: We've had several dropouts due to the rescheduling, so we now have space for four more teams. If you're interested in joining the fun tomorrow, please reply to this email! We will be teeing of at 7:30.

The Proshop and course will open as usual at 9 AM tomorrow for walkers only. Due to the current rain, we anticipate a delay for carts until at least noon, as the course is still extremely wet and needs more time to dry out.

With the Presidents Cup this weekend and the Nittany Open next weekend, we want to be cautious about cart access. At this moment, the course isn't ready for carts, and it's hard to predict how much it will dry out by morning.

Andrew will send out an email tomorrow morning as soon as he has a clear update on cart availability. If you're planning to play with a cart before noon, we recommend calling the Proshop for the latest information, especially if you don’t have access to your email or facebook.

ATTENTION PLEASE!!

Because of the recent rain and extremely wet condition of the course, the golf course will be closed tomorrow. We apologize for any inconvenience but the course needs time to drain. We are expecting to open Thursday morning with the pro shop beginning new hours, opening at 9..

The grill room bar and kitchen will be open at 4 so come on out and enjoy dinner at the club. Kitchen is open until 8 and the bar will be open until 9…

**Volunteers Needed:** Unfortunately, the rain prevented us from finishing the tree removal project on #8 today. If anyone is available tomorrow morning at 8 AM, we would greatly appreciate your help with loading and disposing of brush and debris. No equipment is necessary—just bring yourself! Thank you! 🪵🌲🍃

The course may be closed but the grill room will be open today from 3-7.. we will have our regular menu available along with a few special items…. Shrimp cocktail, charred green beans with horseradish sour cream, blackened chicken or grilled shrimp carbonara….

No better way to beat a dreary Sunday than to join us for dinner.
