The 1Mc West Virginia Warriors are in route to Wayne County speedway once again to see if we can put the hot rod victory lane tonight on this Memorial Day weekend. If you’re looking for something to do tonight come out and support the warriors. See you at the track.

A little update on the 1Mc West Virginia Warriors. Two weeks ago we took the 1Mc to Wayne County Speedway in Orville Ohio. We qualified pretty decent and started 5th in what I would call the fast dash and finished a very strong p4. Which made us start p11 in the feature. Car was good and after a few laps of cautions and fuel burn off the car got really good and at one point we was racing for 4th place potion, but ended up coming home with a P7. Now moving forward to this past Saturday. We went back to Wayne County Speedway on a totally different race track from the week before. So again qualified decent, started 5th in the second heat with again a stout field of cars and ended up P4. Feature time we once again started P 11 and the car was doing decent and we was moving forward till a very long red flag came out. Long story short we was moving forward and at one point up to 4th or 5th but ended up coming home P9. Over all pretty good run for us and took it home in 1 piece. Plans for this week are not totally determined yet but possibly back to Wayne County Saturday then Knox Speedway on Saturday with Fast on Dirt.

Well the 1Mc West Virginia Warriors has race 1 in the books for the 25 season. Mother Nature has not been good to the mid Ohio valley this year so the Ohio Valley Speedway decided to play a trick on her and ran a Sunday afternoon race. Well anyone that is familiar with day time racing knows that it going to be very dry and slick and add sprint cars to that combination, well it’s a follow the leader train effect. The weather was great for Sunday but everyone was searching for moisture on the track that just wasn’t there. Anyway we drew a 19 pill that put us on the outside pole of heat 2 next Danny Smith and we finished second, so after the redraw we started 5 in the feature and was running a solid 5th till like everyone else searching for that spot we spun out and ended up 9th for the night. Not happy with it but everyone was struggling just the same. Congratulations to Kory Crabtree on the win. Plans are Atomic possibly this Saturday with the FAST on dirt series. We would like to thank everyone that was able to make to the 2025 Grand Central Mall for the West Virginia Racing Heritage race car show to support the 1Mc West Virginia Warriors Sprint Car. We got to see and catch up with a lot of old friends and great people. It was most definitely one of the best shows with a lot of history and a lot of really good looking hot rods on display. If you didn’t get to make it up to see these hot rods yet, you still have one more day before we take them out of the mall tomorrow night.
