We’ve been a little busy since school has started! Here’s a glimpse at what we’ve been up to! ❤️🐏🖤

-2 full days of AT Bootcamp where the girls learned first aid skills, taping, game and practice emergency scenarios.
- Back to school bash at Film Alley with bowling and games!
- 2-a-days for football started.
- Seniors on their last first day of school!
- The girls got new gear! 🎒
- First football scrimmage of the season @ Peaster! 🏈
- Ended our week with media day this morning! 📸

These girls have done a wonderful job so far! We are so proud of their hard work especially with all of the early mornings and hot hot days!

To battle extreme weather conditions during our “warm” fall workouts, UIL is requiring a new heat policy for outdoor act...

To battle extreme weather conditions during our “warm” fall workouts, UIL is requiring a new heat policy for outdoor activities for athletics and marching band.

Mineral Wells ISD has implemented a Perry Weather Station to read WBGT temperatures around the high school campus. We will have a similar but more mobile set up for MWJH.

Readings will be taken 15 minutes before the start of the first outdoor practice of the day and every 30 minutes during the practice. This will repeat for 5th period athletics and after school practices. We will also have a rapid cooling station available in the shaded, covered area outside of the field house, as well as unlimited access to fluids during practice.

We strive to provide the best care available in our setting to our amazing students. Safety is always at the top of our list for our student athletes.
