🧡Good Morning Cheer Fams!

📑Wednesday, June 10 at 5:30p is the Mandatory Parents’ Meeting located at the First Presbyterian Church in Mineral Ridge (3654 Main St.)
*Please bring a copy of your child’s report card or proof of residency. If you are waiting on open enrollment paperwork, we will accept it as soon as you get it.

🇺🇸Friday, June 12 is the Flag Day Parade. We will be meeting at Mineral Ridge High School (1334 Seaborn St.) at 5p.
*Girls’ should be dressed in red, white, and blue theme and bring a bag of candy to throw!

⭐️If you did not comment previously that your child will be attending the parade, please do so now!

🏖️Save The Date - EOYFL will be hosting a Cheer Camp July 25.. More info to come!

Let’s give a warm welcome our a new board member this season!

Hello everyone! My name is Mackenzie, and this will be my third year coaching the Bantams for WLC! This is also my first year serving on the board, where I’ll be helping with fundraising for our league.

I have two nieces who cheer for WLC. Journey will be cheering on Varsity this year, and Ellie will be on the Bantams. I’m especially excited to be coaching alongside my sister, Tawny, this season. Fun fact: Tawny actually coached me when I was around her daughter’s age, so being able to coach together now feels like such a special full-circle moment.

Cheerleading has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember, and it means so much to see my nieces share that same love for the sport. I’m beyond excited for this season to begin and can’t wait to meet all of the new and returning athletes and families. I truly love being part of the Ram family! 🧡🖤

Meet another familiar face this season!

Hi Cheer Fams - I’m Kaitlynn! 🙂

This is my 5th year coaching, and I’ll be back with the Varsity Squad again! I’ve also proudly served on the WLC Board the last 4 years - 2 years in the Secretary role and previously 2 years as Fundraising Coordinator.

Cheer has always held a special place in my heart. I cheered for 9 years, from Elementary School through High School. Being able to give back to this program and help these athletes grow is something I truly love.

I’m a proud mom of three amazing kids: Lily (13), Brynn (11), and stepson Ethan (15). This year is especially bittersweet because my daughter, Brynn, will be cheering on the Varsity Squad and it’s our final year before heading off to high school.

When I’m not busy with cheer, other sports, or work you can usually find me in the kitchen, spending time with my husband and kiddos, or planning our next travel adventure.

I’m looking forward to making new memories with all of these incredible girls, having tons of fun throughout the season, and hopefully bringing home a W at competition - let’s make this one to remember! 🏆🧡🖤

Introducing another returning board member for our 2026 season, coach Tawny.

H-E-L-L-O! My name is Tawny and I say HELLO! 😜

This will be my 5th year with WLC, where I serve as the Athletic Director and this year’s Bantam Coach. I’m so excited to introduce this sport to our new cheerleaders and can’t wait to see so many familiar faces returning!

I’m a mom of three: Journey, who will be cheering on Varsity; Elliana, who will be cheering on Bantams; and my son John, who may not cheer but is hands-down the best supportive cheer brother around.

By day, I’m a nurse case manager, and like many of you, my evenings are spent chauffeuring kids from one activity to the next. I’m truly looking forward to this upcoming season and all the joy, growth, and memories it will bring! 🖤📣

Let’s say hello to another board member and Varsity coach, Anna!

Hi! I’m Anna and this is my 6th year as a coach and as a member of the WLC cheer board. This season I will be serving as VP of the board and a varsity coach!

I have two daughters that cheer for WLC: Aria on Varsity and Thea on Bantams! Cheerleading has been a part of my life since I was a Little Rams Cheerleader starting at age 5 and up until my senior year of high school!

Outside of cheerleading, I work as a mental health therapist and run a small apparel business! I’m deeply rooted in Mineral Ridge and this community is my family. I enjoy live music, time with my family and friends, tacos and lemon desserts 🙃

I’m looking forward to a wonderful 2026 cheer season and getting to coach these amazing young ladies! It is an honor and a privilege to be trusted to help guide, teach and mentor this young generation of athletes! Go Rams!! 🧡🖤

Now introducing WLC board member, Coach Miranda!

Hi everyone! My name is Miranda, and this will be my 4th year coaching cheer with WLC. I’m also excited to be serving my 2nd year on the board, where this season i am Co-President. I have one daughter Madi who has been actively in Ridge Cheer and well as Dream Team and soccer .I also coach Girard soccer as well as indoor soccer . If my time isn’t in the car running from practice to practice , i enjoy traveling , Notre Dame and hanging out with Madi.

Mineral Ridge will always be the place I call home , I cheered from little league onto high school winning 2 state championships. Ridge has taught me the importance of community, kindness and dedication.

Cheer has always been something I’m passionate about, and I love being able to help athletes grow both on and off the mat. I’m looking forward to another great season and continuing to help make WLC Cheer a fun, positive, and supportive program for all of our athletes and families! 🧡🖤📣

Fundraiser pick up info ⬇️

5/21: If you’ll be in the area Thursday, tawny and Kenzie will be at Seaborn with the goods! You can find them at field 1 from 530-630.

5/27: There will be another opportunity to pick up on Wednesday 5/27 from 6:15-6:45 at the gazebo.

6/10: If neither of the above dates work with your schedule, you may collect at the parent meeting on Wednesday 6/10 at 5:30 pm at the First Presbyterian Church

Hey there WLC fam! Every week leading up to the parent meeting we will be highlighting our board members and staff. To start off our introductions we have Coach Amanda!

Hi!
My name is Amanda and my position on the WLC board is President. This is my sixth year on the board and I also coach! I have coached my daughter Tessa on Bantams, JV, and continuing still with Varsity. Cheer has been a part of my life for a long time and I truly have enjoyed working with our athletes a long the way. It has been a privilege to work with them, my fellow board members and coaches.

I cheered for little Rams when I was in elementary and continued on into high school. Outside of cheer I help coach my daughter with her 10U softball team and join my son as he plays golf for the high school team. I also currently work in our elementary school in one of the pre-school rooms.

Mineral Ridge is home and being a part of the community, helping to develop the next generation of athletes, and building relationships along the way has been a rewarding journey. I truly love watching the growth and love develop in this sport.

This 2026 season will be here before you know it and we can’t wait to work with everyone! Go Rams!! 🧡🖤
