some exciting news to share! 💜🏐

I have officially accepted the Head Volleyball Coach position at Edgewood High School. I am incredibly grateful for this opportunity and excited to pour into another program, build relationships, and continue doing what I love - developing athletes both on and off the court.

With this transition happening immediately, there will be a few slight changes to our lesson schedule over the next few months.

• Tuesday and Thursday morning lessons will be canceled.
• If you currently attend lessons on those days and there are still openings on Mondays, Wednesdays, or Fridays, please use the Schedulista link to reserve a new time slot.
• Everything else will remain as scheduled.
• The last week of July lessons will also be canceled.

Thank you for your continued support, flexibility, and trust. Crush Culture has always been built on love for this game, and I appreciate each of you as we navigate this exciting new chapter together.

Development Over Status

The longer I coach, the more I see it.

Players and families will often choose the status of a name over actual development.

The truth is, many of the teams and clubs with the biggest reputation aren’t necessarily developing athletes. They’re often great at marketing, recruiting athletes who were developed somewhere else, or relying on private lesson coaches to do the development work.

As a coach and more importantly, as a mom of athletes - I would choose a smaller program with a coach who genuinely invests in my child every single time over a big name with a great sales pitch.

Development isn’t just about skills. It’s about confidence, work ethic, accountability, leadership, resilience, and learning how to handle adversity both on and off the court.

Don’t get caught up in the logo, the social media hype, or the status.

Ask yourself:
• Is my athlete improving?
• Is my athlete being challenged?
• Is my athlete learning life skills through sports?
• Is someone truly pouring into my child?

Because in the long run, development wins every time.

Choose the coach who develops the athlete, not the one who sells the dream.

What an incredible start to our Summer Academy season! Our hearts are full, and we are beyond grateful for the amazing turnout.
