Important Announcement for All Saturday Ski & Snowboard Members / Parents

Subject: End of the 2026 Season

Good afternoon, everyone

I would like to first thank you for entrusting us with your children this season.

At this time, we are unfortunately having to announce that yesterday was the last day for the 2026 season. We only learned yesterday that today is the last day that the Boulder lodge and lift are operating; this is driven by the lack of snow.

Rather than put our members at risk from trying to navigate more advanced and unfamiliar terrain (runs and lifts), along with having to avoid unmarked obstacles we will be offering a credit to all who return for the 2027 season: more to come on that.

The safety and well-being of our members, chaperones and their families must be our primary concern.

We thank you for your understanding under these challenging conditions.

Good evening everyone,

ID Tags ... Please locate and remember to bring them tomorrow, too many children have been forgetting them.

Weather ... It's going to be very cold tomorrow morning, please come prepared!

Safety ... I can't emphasize this enough; helmets and goggles are a critical component! Also, please take a moment and talk with your children about skiing / boarding safely; not taking risks and following mountain etiquette. We will also drive this message to all the children!

Good evening members,
A few reminders and requests:

Please remember your ID Tags!

We ask that only one set of Skis and/or Snowboard per bag, if you don't have one please see me tomorrow morning; I might be able to help out.

Please Please put your child's name on their ski / board bag. It needs to be very visible.

Disrespectful behavior on the bus will get a warning, then could lead to dismissal from the program, depending on the infraction; all Douglas County Transportation Rules Apply to our Program.

If you plan on picking up your child early please notify us in the morning, so we can help your child set their Ski/Board Bag aside for you.

The buses are locked between 11AM & 1PM, so if you plan on picking them up after 1PM they will need to take their personal belongings with them after lunch unless you are picking them up after 3pm.

Imperative that when signing out your child early that you do so with a chaperone.

This is the last week of lessons, please encourage your children that signed up for lessons to please attend out of respect for Heavenly and the program.

It appeared that everyone enjoyed themselves, even those who may have banged themselves up a little. 🤪
