Wow! What another great night at PHCC Ladies League – Fairways & Friendships!

Tonight, we celebrated another special milestone for one of our own, Sharon Malone, better known as “Granny.” Sharon recently retired from her career as a paraprofessional and as the Haughton Buccaneers softball coach.

To honor her, we surprised her by decorating our golf carts with all of her favorite things and even dressing up like her! It was a fun-filled evening and a wonderful way to celebrate everything she has meant to so many people.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this surprise such a success, especially Sharon’s amazing family for showing up and showing out! Special thanks to Rusty Wren for the creative idea and to Tyler Mandino and Bent Elbow for frying up some delicious fish. We also appreciate all of the ladies who helped decorate and bring the celebration to life.

Congratulations to our winning team: Stacey Burt, Janet Crawford, Holli Vining, and Nikki Hayden!

Thank you to everyone who helped make the evening so memorable. Now we’re looking forward to our next big event—Luau Night next Monday!

Many of you may already know that Jamie and Jennifer Lunsford’s granddaughter, Elizabeth, is facing serious medical challenges and will soon undergo a life-saving surgery. To help support their family during this difficult time, we are hosting a golf tournament fundraiser.

We would love for our community to come together and support this sweet family in any way possible. We are currently seeking donations for the Booze Putt, sponsorships, door prizes, baked goods, volunteers, or any other contributions you feel led to give.

Every act of kindness, big or small, will make a meaningful difference for Elizabeth and her family. If you would like to donate, volunteer, or help in any way, please reach out.

What a great night at Pine Hills Country Club Ladies Golf League, Fairways & Friendships! Not only did we enjoy a fun night of golf, but we also celebrated the retirement of Jenifer Francis after 33 years of teaching.

I think she was surprised to find her golf cart — along with many others — decked out in red, white, and blue for our “Red, White, & Birdies” theme, along with a few fun pictures of Jen herself placed around the course. After 33 years in the classroom, she’s officially trading lesson plans for tee times! ⛳️❤️🤍💙

Congratulations to this week’s winning team: Jennifer Smith, Jenifer Francis, Jennifer Lunsford, and Sherie Lester with a score of 35!

A big thank you to Ken Marks for grilling delicious hot dogs, and we all enjoyed apple pie and ice cream to top off the night.

Also, thank you to Danny Clanton at D.C. Pawn for providing new golf towels for everyone tonight!

Another wonderful evening of golf, friendship, and celebrating one very special retiree.

🌮🌺 Fiesta Night at Pine Hills Country Club Ladies League 🌺🌮

What a fiesta we had on the course! The evening was filled with fun, friendship, and a whole lot of flavor as we celebrated Cinco de Mayo in style.

A huge thank you to Tyler Mandino, Bent Elbow Catering, and Bo Branch for serving up delicious fajitas that kept everyone fueled and smiling. And of course, the night wouldn’t be complete without margaritas—thank you to Jennifer Smith and Carla Gray for keeping the good times flowing!

On the course, the competition was just as hot as the fajitas! Congratulations to our winning team—Marta Sramkova, Janet Crawford, Shalom Baggett, and Crystal Mandino—who brought home the victory with an impressive score of 34!

From great golf to great food and even better company, Fiesta Night was one to remember. Already looking forward to the next fun night with this amazing group!
