We're paddling 🛶 the Brown Deer stretch one last time today.

Thanks to everyone who got on the river with us this season, whether it was your first trip or your tenth.

Milwaukee Riverkeeper is also cleaning up Kletzsch Park from 10 a.m. to noon today if you'd like to spend part of the morning helping out.

Friday brings our Mequon trip and the guided fall foliage 🍁 paddle with Milwaukee Riverkeeper.

Saturday and Sunday are Brown Deer days.

We may see migrating salmon 🐟 on our fall trips, though sightings are never guaranteed.

If you spot one, let your kayak drift and give it room.

We'll cover safety and the basics on shore before you launch. Once you're out there, you can paddle at your own pace.

Join Riverkeeper staff for a guided Fall Colors Paddle on Friday, October 16 at 2:30 PM through one of the most scenic stretches of the river. They’ll lead the way while Forward Outdoor provides the kayaks, gear, and logistics to make getting on the water easy.

Some of the trees along the Milwaukee River are still green, but there are some fall leaves 🍂 breaking through.

Paddle Brown Deer today and you'll catch the start of the change.
