Just a little yoga business in Milwaukee… 🥹

August was OFF THE CHAIN.

Yoga at the Milwaukee Art Museum. Lit From Within. Full Moon Yoga + Sound Bath. Goat yoga. Beach yoga. New collaborations. Old friends. So many new faces. So much community.

And somewhere in between all of it, a whole lot of laughing, sweating, scrambling behind the scenes and thinking… how is this my life?!

MKE Yoga Social was never supposed to be just about yoga.

It’s about getting out of the house. Trying something different. Meeting people. Taking up space. Feeling good in your body. And having a damn good time while we’re at it.

August, you were one for the books. 🤍

KNOW BEFORE YOU GLOW ✨🌉

Lit From Within is TOMORROW, Milwaukee! And with A LOT happening across two locations, here’s your game plan.

🌉 START AT LIGHT THE HOAN
Glow Village opens at 6:30 PM with food, drinks, glow art, local businesses + more.

Glow Yoga kicks off at 7:45 PM and the Chase the DJ Run takes off around 8 PM.

✨ THEN FOLLOW US DOWN WATER STREET
The Glow Social at Boone & Crockett starts around 8:30 PM with wellness, tattoos, tarot, local makers, restorative stretch, drinks, music + two Light the Hoan shows.

A few important reminders:
🚗 Parking will be TIGHT. Carpool, rideshare or arrive early if you can.

🪪 Bring your ID. Boone & Crockett is 21+ and ID is required for entry.

💛 The event is FREE + yoga is Pay What You Can.

Rock the Green is excited to once again help our friends at Sincerely in Song make Wildflowers on the Water a ZERO-WASTE event! 🌎♻️

Join us at beautiful Lakeshore State Park for a FREE, alcohol-free celebration of music, nature, art, wellness + community, uplifting the mission of Friends of Lakeshore State Park and the stewardship of Milwaukee’s beautiful urban lakefront. 🌱

We’re especially excited to see some familiar faces from our Rock the Green Earth Day Celebrations! 💚 Sarah Fierek, Ceiba Chavez, and Kavon Cortez Jones have all performed at Earth Day, while Angie Mack has brought her community drum circle to the celebration and joined Sarah onstage as part of The Wildflowers.

And another Earth Day favorite is making its way to Wildflowers — GOAT YOGA! 🐐🧘‍♀️ MKE Yoga Social will be there with the adorable baby dwarf goats from Platinum Sky Farm.

LIT FROM WITHIN: Thursday, 8/27... This night is about more than yoga. 🌉✨

Lit From Within is our 5th annual collaboration with Light the Hoan, and this year we wanted to make it bigger than ever.

Light the Hoan is a nonprofit behind one of the most recognizable parts of Milwaukee’s skyline, using the bridge as a canvas to celebrate our city, tell stories, support causes and bring people together.

And on Thursday night, we get to gather underneath it. 💛

Movement. Music. Local makers. A sunset run. Yoga. An after party. And two light shows synced to music as the Hoan lights up over Milwaukee.

Lit From Within is FREE to attend, with raffle proceeds benefiting Light the Hoan.
