Sea Safaris Sailing School Sea Safari Sailing School offers basic through advanced ASA sailing education along with marine weather, coastal and celestial navigation courses.

Sea Safaris Sailing School offers certified basic through advanced sailing courses through the American Sailing Association. Sea Safaris also offers a sailing club for certified students or other experienced sailors to charter or practice their craft of sail. Courses are charters are offered on Bangs in Wauconda and on Lake Michigan from Belmont (Chicago), Waukegan Harbor, Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Wilmington, Punta Gorda, Florida.

⛵ The final approach.

After five days aboard Calypso, our Learn To Sail Vacation students brought the boat safely back to Milwaukee and completed their adventure on Lake Michigan.

Five days ago, these students stepped aboard Calypso to begin their Learn To Sail Vacation.

Over the course of the week, they experienced everything Lake Michigan had to offer, including beautiful sailing, fog, changing weather conditions, marina arrivals, route planning, docking, and life aboard a cruising sailboat.

Yesterday, they successfully brought Calypso back to Milwaukee and completed their adventure with new skills, new confidence, and unforgettable memories.

Congratulations to our students on completing their Learn To Sail Vacation! ⛵🎉

⛵ Day 3 of our Learn to Sail Vacation aboard Calypso.

The day started in heavy fog, hoping for a little more wind than yesterday. Some came...for a while. Then Lake Michigan had other plans.

When the breeze disappeared and storms began building, the crew adjusted course and headed towards Sheboygan.

One of the most valuable lessons in sailing isn't how to sail when conditions are perfect. It's learning how to make good decisions when they aren't.
