My world recently got ROCKED by a car accident and while I'm still processing the shock of the event, I've realized some lessons also apply to business.
I'm sharing 5 lessons learned from this experience that may also help you boost your entrepreneurial game.
Today's lesson is all about SUPPORT and, holy moly, did I receive support.
So often we cruise about our lives or businesses silently struggling, when all along there are people waiting in the wings to catch us, guide us, and support us.
We need to be discerning.
We need to ask.
We need to be willing and ready to receive the support that's given.

Whether you have a team right now or not, as your business grows you will get to the point where you can't do everything.


Most coaches start growing their teams by hiring a VA (virtual assistant) to support their social media/content management, among other tasks.


And when you begin working with your new team member, you will need a way to organize your communication. By having a system in place, you'll save so much time, energy, and confusion.


I'm excited to share a communication-organization app that has worked super well for our team at The Butterfly Guide...

...It's called Slack!


We've tried out a few different apps (including ClickUp, Asana & Voxer) to support communication but Slack takes the cake because it checks so many boxes for us and makes staying organized a breeze.


Here's what we love about Slack and why:

👉Customized "channels": Think of these as subject-based threads. We have channels for social media, masterclass (spoiler: I've got something awesome in the works), hashtags, lead generation, newsletters, training...and more! It's like keeping all your notes about one topic in the same "folder".

👉Voice notes: Just like Voxer, you can leave voice memos for each other. Slack will actually transcribe the notes for quick reading! You can even adjust the playback speed (a handy feature for longer notes). We LOVE this feature.

👉Pinned links: Within each channel, you can add important documents/links to the top that are relevant for that topic. Super handy to keep all docs organized by theme/subject.

👉App integration: Slack is set up with so many integrations - including, Google Drive, Loom, and Zoom! It makes sharing content from these external apps easy peasy!


This is really just the tip of the iceberg in terms of capabilities from Slack, but hope it helps if you're starting to explore new communication platforms.

If you really want to see your clients soar, consider offering them a group coaching program

There are so many crazy good benefits that clients will gain from joining a group coaching program.

They will have exposure to you but also to the other participants in the group. That means:

- more ideas generated
- more empathy shared
- more relationships built
- more opportunities for collaboration
- more accountability
- more everything!

Group coaching is where it’s at my friend! 💖

Don't get me wrong, 1:1 coaching has its place and is definitely a great fit for the right person.

However, group programs have many amazing benefits that have me smitten right now! 😻

This list is just the tip of the iceberg.

I recommend a group program if you want your coaching clients to have an absolutely out-of-this-world transformation. 🚀

Magic is the best word I have to describe what happens within the energetic walls of a group container. Truly. ✨

A coach may be insanely knowledgeable and a top notch mentor, but I’ve found it that it is the peers within a group container that really take the entire experience to the next level.

When you prequalify you're leads, you're demonstrating respect for your prospect (and yourself!).

Don't waste your time, energy, or resources by leading people down a rabbit trail that won't lead anywhere.

As soon as you can in the process, determine if they will be a good fit for what you're offering by asking thoughtful questions.
